About The Four Seasons

The Four Seasons came up with a great single in 1992 making full use of the remarkable range of Frankie from falsetto to baritone. When the ensemble sang “Sherry” on American Bandstand, Four Seasons became the most celebrated band in the region making the lead singer, Frankie Valli an “overnight” sensation having a number one album. The sound of the single was much admired and a number of R&B groups have also used his falsetto style as their background harmonies’ part. Frankie and his band the Four Seasons have influenced a number of other recording artists. From his powerful falsetto to his vocal’s deepest emotions, Franlie Valli has created a unique style that many still emulate. The music of Frankie Valli is loved by old and young fans alike as of in the disco era, the group hit it big with its single, “Who Loves You,” reaching number three in 1975. Other songs such as “The Night” and “You’re Ready Now” arose from the North England’s night clubs becoming great hits in Europe. In 1994, a dance remix of a hit song, “December 1963” peaked at number fourteen in the United States on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2007, a remix of the group’s smash 1967 hit, “Beggin’” turned out to be the number one dance album in Britain.

Frankie Valli has continuously toured since 1962 and his musical numbers have been featured in many movies such as The Deer Hunter, Mrs. Doubtfire, Dirty Dancing, The Wanderers and Conspiracy Theory. As many as two hundred artists have covered versions of Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” from the hip-hop makeover of Lauryn Hill to the jazz treatment of Nancy Wilson. After the hit single, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” two more Top 40 were released including “To Give (the Reason I Live)” and “I Make a Fool of Myself”. Even though Frankie became successful as a solo artist, he never left his band and produced hits with the Four Seasons as well. While Frankie Valli became successful as a solo artist, his music ensemble remained in the Top 40 with tracks as “Watch the Flowers Grow” and “C’mon Marianne” among others.

The Four Seasons’ music can be notably heard on most critically acclaimed and popular TV show “The Sopranos.” Frankie also made a guest appearance in the fifth and sixth seasons of the series. Rock and Roll hall of Fame inductee, Frankie Vallie is now a national sensation whose songs are heard at most radio stations.

Frankie Valli came roaring with his number “My Eyes Adored You,” in 1975 which topped the charts. The solo performance of “Grease,” by Frankie Valli has reached the inevitable number one ranking in Billboard in 1978.
