Journey's Career: The Story So Far
Journey began as a progressive rock band in the 1970s, with their early albums featuring lengthy instrumental passages and complex arrangements. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1975, but it wasn't until the addition of Steve Perry as lead vocalist in 1977 that the band found their signature sound.
