About Asheville Symphony The American Four Seasons Asheville Tickets

The performance starts with the majestic Water Music by Handel. The second act is set in motion when Tim Fain, the superb American violinist, joins in with the orchestra to perform the Violin Concerto No. 2, a celebrated masterpiece of Philip Glass. The American Four Seasons is flawlessly designed to be performed by the same orchestra which played the Vivaldi’s renowned Four Seasons. The harpsichord is swapped for a synthesizer which modifies the sounds of the quaint instrument to invent the music which drives with the cadence and recurrence of contemporary urban life. The American Four Seasons is then succeeded by two acts, namely, the three Latin American Sketches and Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto.
