Wicked Set for a Spring Run at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts
Beginning on April 1, 2020, the newest revival of Wicked will take over the Cobb Great Hall at the popular Wharton Center for Performing Arts. This string of shows will end on April 19, 2020 with Saturdays and Sundays featuring two performances per day.
Located on the campus of the Michigan State University, the Wharton Center for Performing Arts opened in 1982. The Chicago Symphony were one of the first acts to play at the Cobb Great Hall. Since then, the venue has garnered state and national prominence with many talented acts utilizing the platform to showcase their skills.

Variety referred to it as “A Cultural Phenomenon” while the New York Times labeled Wicked as “Broadway’s Biggest Blockbuster.” Back in 2003, the original Broadway production of the hit musical debuted to lots of critical acclaim. It earned 10 nominations at the 58th Tony Awards and win on to win the prestigious prize in 3 categories.
