A 2011 musical adaptation of the popular 1939 Oscar winning movie, The Wizard of Oz has become a hit among fans and critics. The book is written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jeremy Sams and the lyrics by Tim Rice and E. Y. Harburg. Webber also contributes to the music along with Harold Arlen and Herbert Stothart. It debuted on the West End, and made its way to Canada and finally to America in 2013.
