The Book of Mormon is a religious satire musical composed by Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez. It features two young Mormon missionaries sent to share their scripture, The Book of Mormon, with locals of a village in Northern Uganda. They face problems since only one of them has actually read the book and also because villagers are more concerned about poverty, war, food, AIDS than religion and faith.

The original broadway cast recorded and released an album which became the highest charting Broadway cast album peaking at number three on Billboard charts. It won a Grammy award for Best Musical Theatre Album.
