Both are sent to a poverty stricken village in northern Uganda to preach the Book of Mormon to the locals. The villagers seem uninterested in religion as they are threatened by a tyrant warlord, AIDS, famine and war. As time progresses, the naïve duo find their lives changed and challenged by the tasks which seemed easier when they were in the States. What follows is a funny and interesting tale that highlights racism, religion, sexuality and friendship.
