The whole story of this musical revolves around two missionaries Elder Kevin Price and Elder Arnold Cunningham who have been sent on a mission to Uganda to preach The Book of Mormon. On arriving there they face a lot of difficulties and are immediately robbed by General Butt-Fucking-Naked’s army, who is also a local warlord. On reaching the village the villagers tell them about the pathetic condition in which they were forced to live for so many years. Poverty, famine and AIDS were their major concerns and had no faith in GOD due the miseries he had inflicted on them. To make things worse they kept on chanting blasphemous songs. Towards the end of the musical both the missionaries are able to help people regain their dignity and live a better life.
