The second dance is called "Blind Encounter" in which the dancers will showcase how the French Revolution stirred emotions of equality amongst the Irish. Ready for battle the Irish troops prepare themselves to protect the land, but on the arrival of the enemy, the two nations come to realize that they are allies rather than foes. Five more dances are presented after this called "Rhythm in Motion" that depicts that arrival of Irish show bands of the sixties, "Northern Exposure" that showcases how the Irish won their independence from the English rule, "Bringing it All Back Home" that presents the Sean nos dance, one of Ireland’s oldest dance styles, "The Drill" that brings to stage the story of Michael Collins, the exceptional Irish leader and "The Hill of Tara", that presents the story of this monumental hill and as to how it is a famous battleground. The next scene presents live music by the band called "Lightening Strikes" that showcases the true essence of the festive Irish music. This is followed by another dance called "Afro Celt" that tells the story of how the Irish migrated to the US after the potato famine. The last two scenes present a song from The Aran Sweaters which was an influential group of the sixties after which the final dance of Act 1 comes to stage.
