About Hamilton

Directed by Thomas Kail, Hamilton is a story of one of the founding fathers of America. Hamilton was an orphan who was born out of wedlock and was abandoned by his father after his mother died. Hamilton started working as a teenage clerk but with a stroke of luck and his hard work, he was sent to New York where he started working towards achieving glory. Hamilton took an active part in the War of Independence and got married to Elizabeth Schuyler who was the daughter of a general. The musical narrates the gist of ‘then America’ in the most outstanding way.

Grammy Award winner, Lin Manuel Miranda has made sure that the lyrics, book and music of the performance represent the actual incident. Hamilton is not just a musical with an exceptional storyline but the theatrical experience that it provides is unmatchable. The choreographer of the musical, Andy Blackenbuehler has seamlessly synced the moves of the performers with the music. As the story proceeds, the personalities of the characters evolve and each character comes out strong. Even though much of the storyline is based on Alexander Hamilton but the musical won’t be revolving only around him only.
