Dancing with the stars is a US television series that began airing in 2005. It is a dance competition that pairs celebrities with professional dancers. Each pair gets a score from the judges and the pair with the lowest score goes out, until the champion pair remains. The show is basically the American version of the British show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. The show is currently hosted by Emmy Award winner Tom Bergeron, along with co-host Erin Andrews. Andrews was the finalist of the tenth season and joined the show in the eighteenth season, prior to which Brooke Burke-Charvet was the co-host.
