Dancing with the Stars – The Televised Version

Dancing with the Stars is an American dance competition that was started back in 2005 and runs on ABC. The show takes its inspiration from the British version, Strictly Come Dancing. It is currently hosted by Tom Bergeron and Erin Andres. The idea behind the competition is to pair one celebrity with a professional dancer. Each couple then performs a predetermined dance to gain audience votes and judges’ points. Every week, the couple with the lowest points is eliminated until only the champions remain.
