Dancing with the Stars is one of the most popular dance competition shows in the country. It has won several awards and has featured over two hundred and sixty celebrities since its inception.

Dancing with the Stars debuted eleven years ago in 2005 on ABC. The show is produced by Joe Sungkur and Rob Wade. It has performed twenty three seasons so far and will be back for its twenty fourth season. At the start of every season, celebrities from different fields are announced who are paired with professional dancers.

Together the couples perform different styles of dances including, Freestyle, Jive, Quickstep and Paso doble among others before the judges. Once their performances conclude, they are given points by the judges. The pair with the least judges’ points and audience votes gets eliminated every week. The last couple left standing is crowned the winner of the competition.
