To date, the US Senior Open has two record holders, Hale Irwin and Fred Funk. Irwin had a record aggregate score of two-hundred and sixty-seven in the 2000 US Senior Open golf championship. Funk had a -20 par in the 2009 competition. The oldest champion in the history of the US Senior Open was Allen Doyle. He won the 2006 Open at fifty-eight years of age. The current reigning champion is Roger Chapman.
