Temple Owls Tickets

The Temple Owls are trained by head coach Fran Dunphy. His five year tenure with the team has brought the team to limelight with an outstanding and seemingly endless spell of excellence. The vibrant Temple Owls cherry adds dimension to the black and white; the team’s official colors. They vividly advocate the brilliant game play and unprecedented success as a college basketball team of our times. Temple Owls Men's Basketball team made their first Pre tournament appearance in 1938. It formally entered the NCAA in1994 where it lost in the semi-finals. The next leap for the team was association with head coach Harry Litwack. This legendary coach earned hundred of wins for the Temple Owls. In 1956 and 1958 NCAA Tournament Final Four began its winning processions with him.

Temple Owls were lucky to acquire another Hall of Fame and holder of multiple Elite Five titles, Coach John Chaney.  Under his wing the team mounted its wins in NCAA tournament and other appearances. Hence the decade of eighties was thoroughly enjoyed by the Temple Owls and their supporting crowds. The team won considerable appraisal on the media front. Sports and especially basketball critics applauded their talent and strong game play. However, things in the nineties became stagnant. Owls walked out winning a single conference championship and three regular season championships.

After the new millennium the team became lucky once again; as Fran Dunphy undertook the responsibility of the head man. Temple Owls under Dunphy swept the Atlantic-10 tournament twice, for years 2008 and 2009. They were also tagged as the 8th A-10 team of the Conference. In 2009-2010 Dunphy was able to show off a line-up that was quality and game strength personified. The team manifested itself as a highly successful team of the NCAA holding the twelfth rank. The polls conducted by the Owl’s media partners suggested the team to be a highly popular entity in the general and basketball circles.

After almost sixth decade in NCAA, the team is an All-Time wins winner at number six. By the end of 2010-11 seasons the team culminated over seventeen hundred wins. Temple Owls tickets will bring a game that will hopefully add more to these wins.
