Similarly, two players of the team, Simao Sabrosa and Cristiano Ronaldo hold the record for the Most Matches Played in the FIFA World Cup, at eleven. Nuno Gomes holds the record for the Most Goals Scored in one European Championship, at four. He also holds the record for the Most Goals Scored in European Championships Finals, at six, a feat he managed to do three different times. Cristiano Ronaldo also holds the same record at six goals and also managed to do so three times.
