The PBR History

A group of twenty bull riders came together in the year 1992 and decided to turn the sport professional. Short on funds, they decided to chip in with one thousand dollars each and formed a body which eventually came to be known as Professional Bull Riders or PBR. The sport has a lot to offer and it was just not possible to showcase all that without it being properly organized. It now has over twelve hundred competitors from thirty five different countries that take part in different PBR events all through the season.

The Velocity Tour in Portland

The Velocity Tour began proceedings for the first time in the year 2014. Now it is coming to your city as part of the Portland Classic. Fans will get to see eight seconds of madness as the riders try to tame the biggest and strongest of bulls. In 2018, it was Edgar Durazo from Mexico who won his first event.

Now this season every rider will get to face a bull for eight seconds in the first round with the top ten going to the next stage. One who gets the most points in the second round will be declared the winner of the event.
