The athletic teams of the University of Arizona, AZ Wildcats are all involved in a flurry of events. Its basketball team kicks off the season by hosting a game against Idaho State. The university’s football team will be playing against USC this weekend. Its golf club puts an end to the Corde Valle Invitational today. Arizona Intercollegiate will be starting early next year. The tennis team will be taking part in the Lakewood Ranch Collegiate Invitational this month. The track team will compete in Bronco Invitational in January, 2011. Lastly, the volleyball wildcats will be playing USC Trojans this weekend.

 Belonging to the NCAA Division 1-A in the Pacific-10 Conference, Wildcats are a group of teams to be reckoned with. Their official colors are cardinal red and navy blue. Arizona Wildcats have proven to be strong in all departments. Their basketball team made it to the NCAA Tournament twenty five years consecutively making it the longest active streak currently. The softball team has won the national championship 8 times and the baseball team has won it 3 times.
