ZZ Top started with Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard, and Dusty Hill as a blues-rock trio in 1969. After Gibbon's band the Moving Sidewalks began to crumble, Gibbons joined with former American Blues band members Beard and Hill to create ZZ Top. 50th-anniversary world tour

American rock trio ZZ Top just started rolling out dates for their much anticipated 50^th anniversary world tour. The iconic Texas Blues rockers have officially confirmed their first 2019 concerts in the UK and Europe. These will take place during the months of June and July. This tour will follow the band’s Las Vegas residency that is scheduled to take place between January 18 and February 2 at the Venetian.

The band will perform at Czech Republic’s Prague Rocks on June 19 and then make an appearance at the Barcelona Rocks Festival on July 5 followed by a show at the Wembley Arena on July 12. Australian music artist Jimmy Barnes will be joining the trio for the London concert. More dates to the tour are expected to be announced soon.
