Pablo Honey (1993) became the formal introduction of Radiohead music and sound. The album carried reminisces of Nirvana’s raw guitars and Peal Jam’s deep vocals. The albums most prominent hit was the single Creep an all time favourite alternative single. This song became its claim to fame as it seemed to harness all the angst and frustration of the youth. Pablo Honey‘s success can be attributed to everything from the compositional lines to lead vocalist Thom Yorke's strong presence. Two years later, Radiohead came back with the second album The Bends. Galvanizing, devious and challenging the album became an anomalous presentation of alternative. Featuring Fake Plastic Tree and High and Dry the album revived rock ballad in the alternative mode. Although Radiohead were still not famous for their work, it didn’t matter as their fan following became loyal and demanding than before. They encourage the band to become a trend and a trendsetter rather than following the trend.
OK Computer (1997) was Radiohead’s third but strongest creation. It was substantiated with a provocative yet balanced theme. A blend of emotional melodrama and intellectual thoughts, it reflects upon life changing experience in the context of innovation and technology. The album became Radiohead’s best selling album. In the new millennium Radiohead resurfaced with Kid A. It bore sound of heavy keyboard keeping close to the heart and soul of alternative. The album’s music and Yorke's vocals became the band’s trademark for the next decade. Amnesiac in 2001 and I Might Be Wrong first live album from Radiohead brought Amnesiac, I Might Be Wrong and True Love Waits as more palpable than their previous efforts. As a consequence, Radiohead got to enjoy a larger fan pool, huge crowds hailing them in live tours and concerts and their loyal following turning into a supportive family front.
Hail to the Thief (2003) came out as another fierce presentation of striking and revolting music. As their longest length album, it carried a range of guitar weight variants in every song. Keeping their experimental undertones intact the album allowed for romantic yet powerful pianos. Radiohead’s minimalist stance facilitated them to create a studio album that added colour from other genres of rock. Next inline was Radiohead’s move to their next label. In Rainbows (2007) was an unusual offering to Radiohead listeners on their own terms of purchase. It was all soft and engulfing with respect to the sound and vocal element and the romantic theme overwhelmed general music listeners as well. In 2011 The King of Limbs hit stands to become a multi-Gold certified album. As a follow up the band scheduled concert tours to promote the album. Radiohead tickets are ready to wow everyone with all new and oldies, in a tour that will not be less than a wonder.
