Working on a New Album

The duo is literally on fire! Daryl Hall has told Rolling Stone that he is in the early stages of making the band’s next album. He hasn’t disclosed details about the upcoming album yet, but has shared that he is in the process of coming up with some ideas for the new record. Hall has already started working with some people on the LP. Oates, on the other hand, is waiting for his band member to ‘jump start’ so he can jump onboard and contribute to the writing process.

Major Accomplishments

The multi-platinum selling group achieved stardom after releasing the smash hit ‘Sara Smile.’ This song peaked to number four on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1976. The group then came out with Bigger Than Both of Us in 1976, which produced the hit anthem, ‘Rich Girl.’ Hall and Oates began experimenting with their music and attempted to combine rock and dance music in X-Static (1979).
