The Nutcracker Atlanta Tickets

Marking a milestone after almost 21 years, one of Atlanta Ballet's major productions, 'The Nutcracker' is coming back to the Fabulous Fox Theatre. Starting from December 8, 2018, the Nutcracker Atlanta tickets are a must have this season as a new version is going to be presented of the traditional tale. Previously directed by John McFall over the course of 21 years, Atlanta Ballet's new Nutcracker will be brought back to life by Gennadi Nedvigin. This new artistic team is the most creative one so far. The team consists of the acclaimed international ballet choreographer Yuri Possokhov and the award winning costume designer Sandra Woodall.

Initially adapted from E.T.A. Hoffmann's 'The Nutcracker and the Mouse King', the story was turned into a two-act ballet. Choreographed by Marius Petipa, it was set to music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The show had gained popularity in North America by the 1960s, fast becoming a holiday tradition.
