The satirical and humorous play "The Book of Mormon" has been entertaining audiences for years. The sarcasm and ridicule of the play is directed at religious beliefs and practices but the storyline and dialogues of the musical always remain within the bounds of respect and do not aim to disrespect any faith.

The creators of the play namely Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, and Matt Stone, had always been fascinated by the Mormon religion and used the play as a creative outlet for the interest they had in the Mormon faith. The musical is basically meant to serve as food for thought for liberal and open minded people and not intended to create any controversy.

"The Book on Mormon" tells the story of two Mormon missionaries who travel to a village in Uganda. Unfortunately their mission is not very successful and they cannot persuade the villagers to let go of their matters and pay attention to religion and God. The play basically outlines the struggles between God and the world and serves as a wonderful eye opener.

An excellent entertainment for the theatre goers, ‘The Book of Mormon’ will definitely make your night entertaining.
