The musical shows the creators’ lifetime fascination with Mormonism and musicals. The musical narrates the story of two young men, who are Mormon missionaries that have been sent to a remote settlement in a rural area located in northern Uganda. Upon arrival, the two Mormon missionaries see that the local population is under threat from a brutal warlord. The locals there are more worried about the war, poverty, famine and AIDS, than about religion.
