The live recordings that were recorded in 1928 from the orchestra were under the charge of Eugene Gossens. Leopold Stokowski was the known Music Director of the orchestra from 1945 till 1946. From the decade of the 1950s until 1991, there wasn’t any official Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. However, it appeared again in the decade of the 1990s with a completely new and fresh ensemble. There are a total of 80 players in the ensemble today and features an international blend of classically qualified musicians who are rendered to the most excellent studio artists in Los Angeles.
