A beautiful blend of choreography and magical transitions, The Nutcracker opens with the Christmas party scene at the Stahlbaum’s house. Young Cara awaits the arrival of her godfather Drosselmeye who always gives her the best gift, and this time as well he doesn’t disappoint. Gifting her toy nutcracker, it is a hit among all the kids and is accidently broken by her brother Fritz.

Later that night Clara sleeps with the nutcracker and exactly at midnight everything comes to life. Things around her grow big including the Christmas tree and furniture, and her beloved toy transforms into a life-sized nutcracker soldier. Together they head out on thrilling adventures that include a fight with mouse army and later they sing and dance amidst snowflakes in a forest. They are also joined by the Sugar Plum Fairy who treats them to delicious candies. The ambiance remains magical throughout and captures the true essence of Christmas.
