Riverdance Set for Multiple Performances at the Wang Theatre at Boch Center
Riverdance will begin its 1-week run at the Wang Theatre on March 31, 2020 with the final show set for April 5, 2020. Double headers are scheduled for the last two days of the short stint at one of Boston’s oldest performing arts centers.
Opening in 1925, the Wang Theatre was initially known as the Metropolitan Theatre. In the 60s, the 3,500-seater theater became the home of the Boston Ballet and its name was changed to Music Hall. During that period, audiences could regularly witness performances from the Metropolitan Opera, Bolshoi Ballet, Stuttgart Opera and the Kirov Ballet along with popular movies at the place.
