With its upcoming season, the opera intends to commemorate the legacies of two the big names in the opera history, Giuseppe Verdi and Richard Wagner by celebrating their 200th anniversary under the leadership of Opera’s Director General Eric Mitchko. For its upcoming season, the North Carolina Opera will be staging its performances at Chapel Hill and Raleigh once again; its lineup of performers will feature both young performers as well as the veterans of operatic world. All the performances will be carried out under the supervision of Timothy Myers as its Principal Conductor as well as Opera’s Artistic Director.
