Amongst lovers of musical theatre, the Mamma Mia! Tempe is one of the most anticipated, undoubtedly a result of it being one of the most popular musicals in the US today, as well as one of the longest running. It is based around the famous pop group ABBA, and features music from the group as well. Its music and lyrics are also by ABBA members, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, with Stig Anderson contributing as well. The book is by Catherine Johnson and the musical premiered on London’s West End in 1999, followed by a Toronto production and a US Tour in 2000, before a Broadway premiere in 2001. Since then, the musical has seen productions in Melbourne, Hamburg, Tokyo, Las Vegas, Seoul and Utrecht. 

Mamma Mia! Tempe is a musical performance that has been winning hearts of people wherever it is showing. Revolving around ABBA, and named after one of its albums, Mamma Mia is a smash hit that has seen a US tour, an Australia tour, a Netherlandsand a South African tour. Many great cities of the world have played host to this award winning musical, revolving around the music and the life of the legendary Swedish band named ABBA. It was termed as one of the Best Selling Artists of All Time and the music of this band is still as popualar.

It has also been adapted as a movie, in 2008, much to the joy of the musicals fans, many of whom have undoubtedly gotten their hands on Mamma Mia! Tempe tickets for this particular performance. It was once known as Hayden’s Ferry when Arizona was a territory and is named after Greece’s Vale of Tempe. It is home to the Arizona State University and is a renowned entertainment hub in Arizona.
