The owners of Kidz Bop, Cliff Chenfeld and Craig Balsam introduced this franchise by issuing the first compilation album, ‘More Kidz Bop’ in 2000. This album was recorded by children and was approved by the fans. Considering the amount of positive response that record received, the duo decided to keep working on their unique concept and after assembling the line-up of skilled singers, they issued the album, ‘Kidz Bop.’ This was the first record in the Kidz Bop series and was certified gold by the RIAA. It was followed by three more gold selling records, ‘Kidz Bop 2,’ ‘Kidz Bop 3’ and ‘Kidz Bop 4.’ All of these albums peaked at the first spot on the Top Kid Audio chart.

A New Tour

Since its inception, Kidz Bop has expanded to include music videos, merchandise, talent search competitions and a live touring division. It has now announced its second tour in collaboration with Live Nation Entertainment. Titled, ‘Kidz Bop Live 2018,’ the trek will soon be coming to Wantagh.
