Meet the Cast

Je'Caryous Johnson has proved that he is the king of stage adaptations by introducing two solid plays, 'Two Can Play That Game' and 'Set It Off.' He is the writer, director and producer of the latter. The show is going to feature four extremely talented female performers, Da Brat (two-time Grammy nominated hip-hop superstar), LeToya Luckett (star of the hit film. 'Down For Whatever'), Kyla Pratt (star of the Dr. Dolittle series) and Demetria McKinney (star of the flicks, 'House of Payne' and 'Bobbi Kristina.') You can expect the show to include many memorable numbers including Angelic Wars, Let It Go, Missing You and Come On.

The Plot

The tale of Set It Off centers on four friends, Titi, Frankie, Stoney and Cleo who spent a lifetime in trying to separate themselves from the mean streets of their neighborhood. The system stole their dreams and now the four would do anything to get them back even if that means stealing from the banks of Los Angeles which is exactly what they do. As their fortune grows, these girls soon realize that more money means more problems.

Touring the States

Je'Caryous Johnson is now going to present Set It Off in different cities across the States. The tour will begin with the show being performed for two days at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta on February 21 & 22, 2020. From there, this spectacle will go on to get staged in cities like, Raleigh, Chicago, Memphis, Houston, Philadelphia and Cleveland.
