Disney on Ice: The formation

The founder of Feld Entertainment and the company’s CEO, Irvin and Kenneth Feld purchased the Holidays on Ice and Ice Follies in 1979. The duo then thought of producing a Disney related show on Ice and soon took this idea to Disney itself which approved of their vision. This led to the duo working on the concept of the show and so, the wheels for the formation of Disney on Ice were set in motion.

In 1981, Irvin and Kenneth Feld introduced Disney on Ice as Walt Disney’s World on Ice. The show became a huge hit during the first decade and produced many enthralling shows including, ‘Happy Birthday Donald,’ ‘Sport Goofy’ and ‘Walt Disney’s World on Ice Salute to Sports’ to name a few.  The show’s popularity has soared tremendously over the years and has toured almost all parts of the world including, Latin America and Middle East.

100 Years of Magic

Disney on Ice is currently producing five shows including, ‘100 Years of Magic.’ This show will feature over fifty iconic characters from the world of Disney including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse along with beautiful princesses including, Anna, Elsa, Snow White and Cinderella.
