The formation of Disney On Ice

Disney On Ice traces its roots to the year 1979 when Irvin Feld and Kenneth Feld bought Holidays on Ice and Ice Follies. The decided to come up with a Disney themed show on ice. They then got in touch with Disney and pitched them this idea. The company agreed which led to Feld Entertainment introducing Disney On Ice in the year 1981.

Disney On Ice was first called Walt Disney’s World on Ice. The show became a global hit within its first decade and even went on to tour Latin America, Japan, Middle East and Australia. This spectacle features professional figure skaters dressed up as Disney cartoon characters. They wow the crowd by performing breathtaking stunts, making young ones jump with joy.  

100 Years of Magic

100 Years of Magic is one of Disney On Ice’s most popular productions. The show will contain more than fifty of Disney’s characters from Mickey Mouse and his friends to the entire cast of Frozen.
