Come From Away tells a true story following the September 11 attacks at the Twin Towers in the United States. As part of the Operation Yellow Ribbon attacks, 38 planes had to do an emergency landing in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. This is a small town with a population of 10,000 people but it welcomed the 7000 stranded passengers and crew members whole heartedly. It is played by twelve actors, most of them being real Gander residents.

Come From Away made history when it became the longest running Canadian musical in October 2018.
