Delving into the Cabinet of Curiosities

Kurios is the story of an inventive scientist who is on a quest to find the place where the impossible and the possible meet. He invents a machine that takes him to such a place. While there, he is bewildered by the inhabitants he meets. He invites the audience to be amazed by how everything becomes what it is not. The visible becomes invisible and the invisible becomes visible, perspectives transform and the world turns upside down. Kurios is a world that is as breathtakingly mysterious as it is beautiful.

Awesome acts and tricks

This show includes a wide variety of circus acts and theatrics that highlight human endurance and creativity that Cirque du Soleil is famous for. Among these are Russian cradle duo, invisible circus, contortion, rola bola, acro net, aerial straps, aerial bicycle and hand-balancing. Chaos Synchro 1900 is the brilliantly choreographed era-specific act that involves eccentrics, acrobats, dancers, juggler and percussionists.

The 2015 North American tour

Since its premiere in spring 2014 in Montreal, Kurios has been on the road touring major cities in North America.
