They circus was an instant success with contributed to its rapid expansion. What started off as a small circus in Montreal Quebec has now become one of the most popular circus today with shows entertaining fans around the globe. There are currently 19 shows produced by Cirque Du Soleil which are shown in more than 40 countries and some 271 cities all around the world. With this massive expansion, Cirque Du Soleil has entertained more than 90 million people worldwide. That is a huge achievement for a company that was founded only in 1984.
