The story which started from Great Depression made its way into our lives in the form of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker and became a musical. The touch of music and dancing in this adorable story is an interesting factor and the choice of genres has made it more special. Black and Wildhorn had collaborated on another event with the combination of music and lyrics and that was ‘Dracula the Musical’, the success of whose gave them the idea to work on another. The idea of taking Bonnie & Clyde as the new musical was basically given by Wildhorn and they both started listening to the demo songs of the musical. This musical was also opened at La Jolla Playhouse.

Bonnie & Clyde is a two act musical which features some beautiful songs like "The World Will Remember Us", "Picture Show", "Made in America" and "God’s Arms are Always Open".  The scores of this musical are not only impressive but also leave a mark on the listener who wants to listen to these over and over. Apart from the two main characters of the musical, Bonnie Parker & Clyde Barrow, some other main characters of the show are The Sheriff, Bud, Ted Hinton, Blanche Barrow and Emma Parker. The story revolves around a waitress who dreams to leave the place she works in to have an adventurous life and a guy who recently has broke out of prison along with his brother. The two meet when Clyde is trying to steal Bonnie’s mother’s car. Looking at how adventurous and risk filled life Clyde is spending, Bonnie finds her dream come true and the two falls in love. The two start life together, committing crimes like robbing and fleeing continuously to avoid prison. Bonnie & Clyde continues living such a life and the sheriff continues tracking them down. With Bonnie’s life presented in her poetry, their fast paced story keeps the audience glued to their seats throughout until the action packed and music filled show reaches its end with a shootout in which these unfortunate, ill-fated lovers are killed.
