Cougar has replaced it, this is an anonymous college student dressed in a cougar outfit. The official team colors are Gray and Crimson.

Washington State Cougars play in NCAA Division 1 and are the members of pacific-12 Conference. Their biggest and fiercest rivals are the Huskies of University of Washington. Washington State Cougars also have rivalries with other Pacific Conference teams like Oregon Beavers and Oregon Ducks. The Cougars have a historic bell that dates back to the late 1800’s that was initially used for the starting and ending of a class but lately it has been moved to the university’s college hall west to the alumni center, now this bell is rung after every college football win as part of a tradition.
