About Snake River Stampede
From humble beginnings as part of Nampa’s famous Harvest Festival in 1913, the Snake River Stampede has come a long way. This popular “Rodeo and Buck Show” as we know it today is one of only 12 professional rodeos that the PRCA recognizes.
What started off as a simple event taking place in a roped off field slowly became bigger and bigger. In 1937, it separated from the harvest festival and the organizers changed the dates to make it a summer event.
Over the years, some of the biggest cowboy singers and country artists have performed at the Snake River Stampede. These include the likes of Rex Allen, Dale Evans, Reba McEntire, Barbara Mandrell and Sons of the Pioneers among others. Many big names are scheduled to perform at this year’s event as well. Events and Performers
