Bull Riding a Professional Sport – Initially when bull riding developed, it lacked rules and regulations. But its evolvement led to regularizing things and today PBR operates as a standard body.
It's All About 8 Seconds – A rider has to stay mounted on the bull for 8 seconds, with one hand in the air and the other holding the rope. Sounds easy, but these happen to be the toughest 8 seconds for any rider. The rider and the bull, both are judged and given points by a panel of three judges.
Bucking Bull is a Special Breed – "Plummer" breed was specially created for rodeo and riding, and had to go through an elite breeding program. The most interesting thing is that these bulls know that they are competing and are actually trained as seasoned professionals. The bulls know that they in an event and perform accordingly.
Treated Like a King – Yes, these bulls are treated like actual celebrities, A single bull participates in only one event a day and any use of whips or spurs is strictly prohibited. Daily they are fed high quality hay, approximately 15 pounds. The bulls are also given nutritional vitamins and B-complex shots.
