Another sport in which the Terps excel is lacrosse, where the men's team has won five championships and the women's team has won three titles so far. The Terps have also performed well in baseball, women's basketball, and men's golf, emerging as winners two times in each game. The swimming and diving team outperformed others by winning seven championships in total; while the men's tennis team and men's ice hockey teams have been ACC Champions two times each in 1957, 1964, and 1999, 2001, respectively.
