They have made it to every FIFA World Cup since the year 1994 and alongside Brazil are the only other team to make it out of the group stage of each of the last seven World Cups.

They have qualified for the FIFA World Cup eight times. Paraguay have also made thirty eight trips to the Copa America and have won the tournament twice.
