Losing badly to the Dallas Cowboys 3–24, the Dolphins learnt a lesson and came back next year and the year after, even stronger, winning two Vince Lombardi Trophies back to back. The team would go on to play in two more Super Bowl Championships. The Dolphins have however struggled for the past two seasons, but this season they are doing great in the AFC East.
