AEW Double or Nothing History

AEW Double or Nothing was a professional wrestling event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW) held on May 25, 2019 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was the second pay-per-view event produced by AEW and featured an 11 match card. The main event saw Chris Jericho defeat Kenny Omega, winning the inaugural AEW World Championship.

The event also featured AEW's debut of former WWE wrestlers: Jon Moxley, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), and Pac (formerly Neville). Other highlights of the night included Cody Rhodes defeating Shawn Spears in a grudge match, Riho becoming the first ever AEW Women's Champion by defeating Nyla Rose, and a Casino Battle Royale won by Orange Cassidy.

Double or Nothing is remembered for being the first major success for AEW following its launch in January 2019.
