Championship Bull Riding Tickets

Championship Bull Riding is also popularly known as "CBR." The main motives behind initiating this event were to promote professional bull riding, to motivate stock contractors for providing top quality bulls and of course to provide a reasonable source of income for professional riders and the people associated with the sport.

The event was the brainchild of famous Texas based entrepreneur and stock contractor Joel Lawrence. Joel’s wish was to provide bull riders with an opportunity to earn money through the sport they loved. CBR officially started in 2002 with favorable response from rodeo fans. The event received more country wide recognition when legendary bull rider Tuff Hedeman took over as the president of CBR. Hedeman had retired from bull riding in the late 90’s. During his career he won four championships. He is also a three time PRCAS World champion  as well as a PBR World Champion of 1995.


In the US all bull riders start their careers by getting into smaller associations like high school rodeo that aim at training young individuals for the sport. These associations encourage both boys and girls to get rodeo training that include events like goat tying, team roping, pole bending, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding and bull riding. From here onwards the riders go on to compete in bigger and tougher competitions. In 2012 Fox Sports Network acquired exclusive rights for airing the event. On an average over 250,000 people watch CBR live at various venues whereas the TV viewership  has reached 14 million.

The riders that are going to take place in the upcoming event are Aaron Pass, Andrew Bark, Bayle Worden, Ardie Maier, Bobby Welsh, Billy Quade Phillips, Bonner Bolton, Cody Brown, Clint Andrews, Cooper Davis and Corey Bailey. Bulls that will feature in CBR this time are Black Gold 4, Coffee Bean, Cocktail, Big Diggin, Only The Good Die Young, Roper’s Like Mike, Itch & Scratch, The Mexican, Sam T Straight and Thunder Down Under. Stock Contractors that are taking part this year are Alpine Bucking Bulls, Berger Bucking Bulls, Collom Bucking Bulls, Cude Bucking Bulls, 8 Second Saloon, Henry Wilson & Terry King, Johnson Cattle Co, Sellers Bucking Bulls, The Washburn Company, Wild Card Rodeo and Women’s Fantasy Team.
