The Islanders

The New York Islanders joined the NHL two years after the Sabres, in 1972. They have enjoyed a lot of success in the subsequent years. The Islanders have lifted the Stanley Cup on four occasions. All four Stanley Cup wins came in consecutive seasons between 1980 and 1983. They also have 6 conference championships and division titles each to their name.
