The Contenders
Beginning with eight teams in its inaugural season, the Big3 will feature 12 competing sides this year. Plenty of high-octane and exhilarating on-court action can be expected when these teams lock horns later this summer. Get your tickets now to experience basketball like never before.
Trilogy
The inaugural Big3 champions, Trilogy will be hoping for a repeat of their perfect campaign in 2017 and win the title for a second time. They are led by former Dallas Mavericks point guard Jason Terry while Kenyon Martin will be taking up the coaching reins after helping the team go undefeated in the inaugural campaign.
Power
Defending champions Power will have their eyes on the prize once again. With Women’s Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman at the helm and Corey Maggette as captain, Power are a formidable outfit fully capable of successfully defending their crown.
3 Headed Monsters
The 3 Headed Monsters have the likes of captain Rashard Lewis, Larry Sanders, Mario Chalmers and Tre Simmons in their ranks. Coached by Gary Payton, they will be hoping to go one step further than their runner-up finish in the first season. In particular, season one MVP Lewis will be hungry for the ultimate success this time around.
3’s Company
Captain Dermarr Johnson and co-captain Baron Davis will be accompanied by the likes of Drew Gooden, Dijon Thompson and Jason Maxiell in the 3’s Company’s colors. 5-time NBA champion Michael Cooper is their head coach.
Ghost Ballers
The Ghost Ballers will be led by captain Mike Bibby along with co-captains Carlos Boozer and Ricky Davis. Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer George Gervin is their head coach. They will be looking to improve on their record from previous seasons.
Aliens
Aliens have the services of 2-time NBA champion Shannon Brown (also the team co-captain), Brandon Rush and Ryan Hollins available to them. Andre Owens is the franchise captain while Nate Archibald, a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, will be serving as coach.
Enemies
3-time NBA All-Star Gibert Arenas will lead his Enemies side into battle on the Big3 stage. He will be joined by the likes of former NBA champion Lamar Odom (team co-captain), Royce White and Craig Smith among others. Rick Mahorn, the man who guided Trilogy to the title in 2017, will be the coach.
Ball Hogs
The Ball Hogs will have the experience of captain Brian Scalabrine and co-captain Josh Childress to call upon. Another former NBA champion Deshawn Stevenson will be the other co-captain while Hall of Famer Rick Barry will be in the coaching hotseat.
Killer 3’s
The Killer 3’s roster has the likes of former NBA champions Stephen Jackson (captain) and Josh Powell (co-captain) on it. Other big names include Donte Green, Eddy Curry, and C.J. Watson. Charles Oakley will serve as head coach.
Triplets
7-time NBA All-Star Joe Johnson will lead the Triplets along with co-captain Al Jefferson. Other players in the squad include Jannero Pargo, Alan Anderson and Chris Johnson. WNBA legend and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie will be the team’s head coach.
Tri State
Jermaine O’Neal and Amar’e Stoudemire will lead Tri State as captain and co-captain respectively. Both players are 6-time NBA All Stars. They will be joined by Nate Robinson, Bonzi Wells and Jason Richardson among others. Julius Erving will be the coach.
Bivouac
Former NBA Slam Dunk Champion Josh Smith will be captaining Bivouac. Anthony Morrow and Will Bynum will serve as co-captains while Reggie Theus will be looking to inspire his charges to glory.

Big3 Championship Tickets and Season Schedule Announced
One of the most popular summer basketball events is back and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before. After a spectacular debut in 2017, the Big3 basketball league is now in its third season and you can expect the excitement to increase significantly. Four new teams will be making their debut in the competition. These include Bivouac, Enemies, Aliens and Triplets. The season schedule is out now and you can expect a grand opening day at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence on July 13, 2019. Defending champions Power will be looking to land Big3 title number two by fending off the challenge of the other eleven outfits.
