The Army West Point Black Knights are the proud representatives of the United States Military Academy in collegiate sports. “Army West Point” is the common name used to refer to all of the teams competing in NCAA tournaments.You can watch them play by getting Army West Point Black Knights tickets.

As a part of the NCAA Division-I, the Black Knights compete in the Collegiate Sprint Football League (men), Atlantic Hockey (men), Eastern Intercollegiate Gymnastics League (men), National Collegiate Boxing Association, Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association, National Intercollegiate Women’s Fencing Association and the Eastern College Athletic Conference.

The West Point Military Academy’s sports teams were previously known as the “Cadets.” However, the football team had the nickname “The Black Knights of the Hudson” because of its black-colored playing kit. Later on, the Army officially adopted the nickname “Black Knights” for all teams.

Achievements

The West Point teams have a distinguished record of excellence in NCAA competitions. The Army Black Knights football team has won the national championship 5 times while the men’s soccer side has 5 conference titles to their name. They were also the ISFA National Co-Champions in 1945.

Moreover, the men’s golfers have won 21 conference titles while the boxers have been NCBA national champions on 10 occasions. The women’s boxing side has won the NCBA national title twice.
