 A renowned American boxer WBA Supper world Super Middle weight champion Andre Ward was born in the year 1984. He is now graded by The Ring Magazine as the number ten pound –for- pound boxer. He has also earned a Gold Medal in the Summer Olympics that took place in the year 2004. His father Frank Ward’s entertaining stories of challenging battles and enthusiastic  victories were a  source of inspiration for him in choosing this profession .Ward was born in the Eastbay of California the Fairview neighborhood  of Hayward and studied in Fairview Elementry,Bretharte Junior school and Hayward High school. At Hayward he played a dominant role as RB and safety on the football team. At the age of 17 he was attached with his close friend Andre Dirrel.Ward begin his career in 1994 and was able to beat many previous records. In the year 2002 he secured first position in under 19 National championships and was also had the honor of wining U.S National championship twice in 2001 and 2003 in Middleweight. His talent can be seen from the fact that he did not lose a single match from 1998 to 2004.

In hi pro debut Andre Ward scored a second round TKO against Chris Molina on December 18 2004. Ward pulled down Molina with the straight left crass in the chin and banged him into the ropes of the second strand. He completely overpowered Molina in the second and final round with another sharp fist into the jaw. After which the referee signaled the match 40 seconds of the second round. Ward had a match against Kenny Kost in the year 2005 in which he dropped him in the second round .Then in the same year he won a match against  Roy Ashworth who committed various fouls during the match as he pushed away Ward in the canvas and hit him in the back of his head.

In the next three fights Ward won against Darnell Boone on November, 2005.Ward won this fight even though he was knocked down for the very first time in the fourth round. For the next six fights he was able to win the TKO and got triumph over the unbeaten Andy Kolle, Fransisco Diaz and Roger Cantrell which took place in Saint Lucia. At the Hp pivillion in Sain Jose Ward got victory over Rubin Williams in the seventh round in a match that took place in 2008.Williams got a blow with jabs and straight left hands which opened a bad cut over his left eye. In spite of the injuries his talent and strength kept him enthusiastic and his passion for the game of boxing proved to be a driving force for him.
