The album was released through A&M Record’s label. Mostly the singles of the album featured heavy metal sound. Again mostly all the lyrics were written and music was composed by Chris Cornell. Only one song I Awake was written by Kate McDonald. Singles in the album include Power Trip, Ugly Truth, Get on the Snake, Hands All Over, Full on Kevin's Mom , Gun, Big Dumb Sex, No Wrong No Right, I Awake, Loud Love, Uncovered, and No Wrong No Right. Badmotorfinger was the third album of Soundgarden band which was released on 8th October, 1991. Third album of Soundgarden was also released through A&M Record label. The music of the album featured an exclusive heavy metal sound like their previous album. Also this time the band more focused on the lyrics of the singles. The songs of this album include, Rusty Cage, Jesus Christ Pose, Somewhere, Face Pollution, Mind Riot, Slaves & Bulldozers and Outshined along with New Damage, Drawing Flies, Room a Thousand Years Wide, Holy Water, Searching with My Good Eye Closed and Let Me Drown.
 
The fourth album of the American grunge band was released on 8th March, 1994 which was named as Superunknown by the band. It was the most successful album of the band which earned high positions on worldwide charts and also debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. The album was recorded through A&M Record’s label like their previous albums. In 1995, Superunknown was also nominated for Best Rock Album in Grammy Award. Also it is a five times platinum certified album by RIAA in the United States. Singles from this album include Let Me Drown, My Wave, Black Hole Sun, Spoonman. Limo Wreck, Half , 4th of July ,Like Suicide, Limo Wreck, Fresh Tendrils, The Day I Tried to Live , Head Down, Mailman and Superunknown. On 21st May, 1996 Soundgarden released their fifth studio album which was titled as Down on the Upside through A&M Records Labels. This album also became a great hit and debuted as number 2 on the Billboard 200. By the RIAA in the United States, the album Down on the Upside was also certified as platinum.
